Welcome to your BÄR Hamburg store

The BÄR store in Hamburg is located in the center of our beautiful Hanseatic city, about 10 minutes from the Binnenalster.

Getting there by car:
Several motorways (A1, A7, A23, A24) and numerous federal roads (B4, B5, B 73, B 75, B 431 and B 432) lead to us in the city center. Please always follow the signs for CENTRUM, and they will guide you to the Alster. 

At the central GÄNSEMARKT, follow ABC-STRASSE to our location at POSTSTRASSE 51. Direct access is only possible this way (one-way street—very few parking spaces). Otherwise, follow the parking garage signs to the entrance of the Hanseviertel parking garage. The direct POSTSTRASSE exit will bring you to us conveniently in a 5-minute walk.

Getting there by public transport:
Hamburg Central Station: Bus routes 4 and 5 and subway line 2 go directly to GÄNSEMARKT. Cross the square, passing the Lessing monument, and follow ABC-STRASSE toward the Marriott Hotel. At the top, walk 10 steps to the left into HOHE BLEICHEN; immediately turn left, and you will find POSTSTRASSE and your BÄR store.

Dammtor Station: Take bus route 4 or 5 toward the city center, get off at the second stop, GÄNSEMARKT, and follow the directions as described for the central station.

From outside Hamburg by S-Bahn via Jungfernstieg: Take a short 5-minute walk toward GÄNSEMARKT and follow the directions described under Central Station above.

By U3 at Rathausmarkt: Leave the square toward Schleusenbrücke, cross the waterway, and continue straight along the street until you automatically reach POSTSTRASSE. You will pass NEUER WALL and GROSSE BLEICHEN; please always keep to the left. The street slopes slightly uphill—at the top, you will find your BÄR store.
