A little anecdote to begin with: We have all experienced “getting cold feet” in the figurative sense, meaning backing out of something. But do you know where this expression comes from? It originated in the world of gambling, which was often prohibited in the past. To indulge in their vice nonetheless, poker players would descend to the cellar to play cards. If one of them had a poor hand and wanted to leave the game, they would say: “My feet are freezing cold, I’d better go.”
Cold feet are genuinely extremely unpleasant and can cause all kinds of discomfort, depending on where you are: outdoors in nature, the walk may have to be cut short; at your desk, it is difficult to concentrate; in bed, you cannot fall asleep ... The causes of cold feet vary—but the good news is that knowing them can help you find relief.
When buying shoes, you should pay attention to two things: shoes with enough room in the toe area and thick soles. The foot should have room to move inside the shoe.
BÄR shoes with enough Toe freedom:

This also allows a warming layer of air to form between the foot and the shoe wall. Also look for a thick tread that acts as an insulating layer between the foot and the ground.

The choice of socks is also important: Sweaty feet mean cold feet, because moisture cools the feet down. A double layer of socks keeps your feet wonderfully warm: thin cotton or bamboo-viscose socks underneath and thick wool socks over them. Alternatively, choose Outdoor socks, which are as warm as pure-wool socks but much lighter. Guaranteed balanced foot climate! Another tip is to wear socks with firmer nubs, which gently massage the foot and stimulate circulation SOCKTOES.

There are also medical causes of cold feet, the most common probably being low blood pressure. In such cases, it can help to get the circulation moving with a little exercise and stimulate blood flow with an invigorating foot massage. Of course, you can use your own hands, but there are also numerous pleasant aids that make the massage even more effective: from the simple Bruno by BÄR MEIN BRUNO to the MASSAGE DEVICE, which is suitable not only for foot massages but also for massaging the back and neck. Wonderful!
